How HostKart Hosting Infrastructure Works
This page describes functions verified in the HostKart and BytezPanel codebase. It intentionally avoids unsupported claims about uptime, datacenter locations, hardware benchmarks or certifications.
Web and PHP workflow
Domain virtual hosts map PHP requests to account-specific PHP-FPM pools. The agent configuration supports PHP 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3 when installed on the selected server.
Database workflow
Customer database names and users are account-prefixed, and phpMyAdmin sessions use the customer database identity rather than unrestricted server credentials.
DNS and SSL
Customers can manage hosted DNS records and request per-domain certificates. Certificate issuance depends on correct public DNS and validation.
Backups
Package settings determine automatic frequency, retention and on-demand limits. Production backup archives are transferred to configured remote Storage Box storage and verified before local cleanup.
Monitoring
The VPS agent collects server and account usage. Dashboard views separate server CPU from account process CPU and keep historical usage samples.
Security controls
Fixed-action agent routes, bearer authentication, command allowlists, path validation, firewall rules and brute-force controls reduce avoidable exposure.
Migration
Migration planning can cover files, databases, DNS, SSL and email. Scope depends on source access and third-party constraints.
Upgrade options
Package limits can be changed and accounts can move toward larger web, cloud or VPS resources as requirements grow.
What varies by plan and server
CPU, RAM, disk, process limits, I/O, websites, databases, mailboxes, backup schedules and available server software are determined by the selected package and target VPS. Review the current catalogue and checkout disclosure before ordering.
